Citydesk Sport has been appointed to work on a national campaign that will see workers across the country encouraged to lead healthier lifestyles.

The sports marketing agency was selected to work on the County Sports Partnership Network’s Workplace Challenge programme, which is being officially launched in the New Year.

Michelle Leavesley, managing director of Citydesk Sport, said she was delighted Citydesk was selected as the agency to launch the Workplace Challenge.

She said: “I am thrilled Citydesk Sport has been selected to work on the Workplace Challenge programme. It is an extremely exciting campaign and one in which I know Citydesk’s PR, social media and planning teams will enjoy working on immensely.”

The Workplace Challenge is a free online programme that allows users to record their physical activity achievements on a daily basis and earn points for the company they work for.

It will be launched on January 6 and rolled out across a selection of the 49 County Sports Partnership Network areas.

The County Sports Partnerships taking part in the Workplace Challenge will be encouraging employees in their areas to sign up to the programme.

There are numerous benefits to employees looking to take part in the Workplace Challenge, including an opportunity to go head-to-head with other organisations in their area to compete to win prizes and be hailed the ‘Workplace Challenge winner’ in their region.

XXX from the CSPN said: “We are delighted Citydesk Sport has been selected as the agency to represent the CSPN in the delivery of this project.

We have worked with Citydesk Sport on number occasions and they have an excellent track record in delivering amazing, creative campaigns that deliver the results we want.

In 2014 one of our main focuses through the Workplace Challenge will be to encourage employers to play a role in the health and wellbeing of their employees.

By simply signing up to take part in the Workplace Challenge programme they will be leading by example and encouraging their employees to lead active lifestyles.”
