A little bit about our MD

michelle-leavesleyMichelle has enjoyed a successful career in sport and is credited as the only Marketeer in the industry who can understand a Quarry report!  She spent nine years at the LTA working her way up from County Development Officer (& County Captain) in Nottinghamshire to Head of Major Projects (Investment) based at former LTA head office Queen’s Club.  She is credited with transforming the spectator experience of tennis events and working with many LTA sponsors in the delivery of tennis promotions winning the ATP award for the Best Tennis Promotions in Europe on three separate occasions.

As head of Major Projects she became known for her expertise in communication processes around the development, construction and delivery of new sports facilities.  She was the first female keynote speaker to be invited to speak at the National Sport & Play Construction Association (SAPCA) in 2001.

After nine years she decided to step into the commercial sector, working in marketing communications full time, establishing her own successful sport & leisure agency.

Michelle was invited to join Birmingham Business School in 2006 as guest lecturer on the BSc &  MSc programmes in Marketing Communications and sets the course syllabus for the upcoming talent. She was invited by Sport England to join the Regional Sports Board in late 2007 and was Chair of the Institute of Directors (IoD) West Midlands Young Directors Forum 2010-2012.
